Fulton County Schools seeks an instructional coach to partner with teachers and administrators to elevate student achievement in core content areas. You will implement Georgia standards, analyze data, lead professional learning communities, and model effective teaching strategies to strengthen classroom practice.

The role emphasizes data-driven coaching, ongoing professional development, and collaboration with school teams to foster high-quality instruction and improved outcomes for students.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
• For Elementary: valid teaching certificate in Birth-Kindergarten, Elementary Education (P-5), Special Education General Curriculum, or equivalent.
• For Secondary: must hold or be eligible for a valid teaching certificate in relevant subject area.
• LETRS course completion preferred for literacy coaching.

• Assist teachers and grade level teams with Georgia standards implementation.
• Improve classroom management and climate through effective instructional methods.
• Analyze student and teacher data to determine teaching and learning effectiveness.
• Analyze student test data and advise teachers and staff on trends, outcomes and needs.
• Demonstrate, monitor, and evaluate the application of effective teaching strategies.
• Recommend best practices to achieve desired student learning outcomes.
• Coordinate site-based professional learning activities as needed.
• Conduct professional development at the school as needed.
• Utilize the coaching cycle to support teacher development.
• Attend district-wide coach meetings and redeliver essential professional development to teachers.
• Exhibit knowledge of performance-based instruction and assessment.
• Participate in periodic professional learning activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
