Job summary

Fulton County Schools seeks a School Improvement Coach to collaborate with teachers and administrators to raise classroom effectiveness and student achievement. The role emphasizes using Georgia standards, data analysis, and ongoing professional development at Stonewall Tell Elementary.

You will support teacher growth, coordinate site-based training, and deliver district-wide guidance. A Bachelor’s Degree is required, Master’s preferred, with three years of teaching experience recommended.

Qualifications

• Must have professional knowledge and proven use of effective teaching strategies and curriculum-based assessments.
• Strong desire to work with at-risk students and developing teachers.
• Ability to communicate with adults and student learners at all ability levels.
• High technological skill level required.
• Excellent organizational and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers and grade level teams with the implementation of Georgia standards.
• Analyzes student and teacher data to determine teaching and learning effectiveness.
• Participates in professional development and district-wide coach meetings.
• Coordinates site-based professional learning activities as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal.
