Job summary

STV in New York City is seeking a Project Officer to support school construction projects within the Construction Management group. You will report to a Senior Project Officer and perform technical and administrative tasks to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely progress of construction activities.

Key responsibilities include reviewing permit documents, guiding applicants, delivering and managing project documents with agencies, and collaborating with Plan Examiners to review documents for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review documents for required City building permits for completeness and accuracy.
• Guide permit applicants through filing processes with City agencies.
• Deliver and manage project documents with agencies for data entry, review, and approval.
• Collaborate with Plan Examiners to ensure compliance with City Building Codes.
• Research building status and records at City agencies.
• Perform related tasks to support project delivery.
