Job summary

Hill 35 is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to plan and provide therapy for students with speech, language, or voice disorders. Responsibilities include assessing eligibility, planning therapy aligned with IEPs, and participating in ARD meetings.

Candidate must hold a Master’s in SLP, a valid Texas license (TDLR), and have at least one year of supervised clinical experience. This position requires daily site presence and a commitment to district goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology required.
• Valid Texas license as a speech language pathologist (TDLR).
• One year of supervised clinical speech-language pathology experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess students with speech or language disorders and determine eligibility for services.
• Plan and provide appropriate individual and group therapy aligned with IEP goals.
• Participate in ARD meetings and interpret assessment data for placement and goals.
• Evaluate progress and determine readiness for termination of therapy services.
• Complete Medicaid forms and submit as directed by the calendar.
• Provide staff development training in assigned schools to assist staff on communication deficits.
• Compile, maintain and file reports and records within timelines.
• Follow policies established by federal/state law and district policy.
• Distribute accommodations after ARD meetings and monitor IEP progress.
• Report to work daily at the designated site and maintain professionalism.
