Job summary

Hill 35 is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapeutic services and instructional support for students with communication disorders. You will design individualized therapy plans and collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to promote student success.

Responsibilities include implementing IEPs, creating evidence-based therapy plans, and maintaining timely documentation while complying with district policies. Spanish-English bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed by the state of Texas as an SLP or ASHA CCC/TEA equivalent.
• Fingerprint/background check completed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students, parents, and school staff to implement IEPs.
• Implement instructional or therapeutic programs for assigned students.
• Plan and use varied instructional strategies reflecting student needs.
• Maintain professional relationships with parents, students, and colleagues.
• Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports following district formats.
• Comply with federal and state special education laws and policies.
