Job summary

Navigator Academy of Leadership is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our student services team. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders, working closely with teachers and families to support student success in the classroom.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations under IDEA/IEP guidelines, developing IEP goals, direct therapy, collaborating with staff and parents, attending IEP meetings,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited program.
• Active Florida SLP license issued by the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
• Florida Department of Education certification in Speech-Language Impaired (K-12) under Florida Statute Chapter 1012.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations to determine eligibility under IDEA/IEP guidelines and FL requirements.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapy (individual/small group) per IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, ESE staff, and parents.
• Attend IEP meetings and annual reviews; document progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation per school, state, and federal rules.
• Monitor and report progress toward IEP goals.
• Conduct PK–12 hearing screenings where applicable.
