Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensed by the State of Alabama in Speech Language Pathology.
• Background clearance as required by Alabama statutes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write an Individual Education Plan (IEP) for each student in the speech and language program.
• Select or prepare materials for therapy, classroom, and home activities.
• Plan educationally relevant therapy and establish service delivery schedules.
• Monitor progress, prepare reports, and communicate results to families and staff.
• Provide consultation and guidance to teachers on classroom accommodations.
