Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy in a K-12 school setting. The role involves collaboration with educators, families, and specialists to support student growth and success.

Full-time contract in Alabama with onsite services preferred; virtual delivery considered for exceptional candidates. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders and contribute to IEP development and implementation.

Qualifications

• Current SLP state license required.
• CCC credential required.
• State Educator Certificate required.
• Experience with school-aged children (grades 1–12) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to monitor student progress.
• Provide therapy sessions individually and in groups to support learning outcomes.
• Consult on speech and language programs, offering resources and strategies to staff and families.
