Job summary

EDU Healthcare seeks school-based Speech-Language Pathologists to join district partners in the Atchison, KS area for the current school year. Onsite role with collaborative team support, strong professional development, and meaningful impact on students’ communication and academic success.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with KS licensure (CFY welcome) and experience with IEPs. The position offers stable school holidays and a supportive, therapist-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license in KS or eligibility to obtain before start
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged
• Experience with school-aged children preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes and therapy documentation
• School-based setting with built-in school holidays

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports per policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and progress
• Stay current with best practices and ongoing professional development
