Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based role in Shawnee, Kansas City for the 2026–2027 school year. You will work on-site with students, collaborating with district staff and TheraPeds teams to support communication goals.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's or PhD in Speech-Language Pathology and is licensed in Kansas or eligible for licensure; ASHA CCC-SLP is preferred, with CF-SLP considered under supervision.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active or eligible for Kansas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Appropriate KS Department of Education credential for school-based practice as required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CF-SLP considered with supervision available.
• Experience with children in a school setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in small groups.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff; provide consultation.
