Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Restorative Practices Counselor to provide school-based mental health services at Battle Mountain HS and Eagle Valley HS. This part-time role (20 hours per week) involves assessment, counseling, and restorative practices to support student well-being and engagement.

Responsibilities include crisis response, collaboration with families and staff, and maintaining accurate documentation. A Master’s degree in a related field and Colorado licensure are required; bilingual

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field.
• Current Colorado license or authorization to practice.
• Preferred experience in school-based settings (districts or schools).
• Crisis and trauma training preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based mental health, assessment, intervention and restorative support to students.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment goals for students.
• Deliver individual and group counseling and case management services.
• Collaborate with school counselors, administrators, families, and community partners.
• Maintain confidential clinical documentation in compliance with standards and district policies.
• Participate in district and school crisis response teams and related meetings.
