Helen Ross McNabb Center in Sevier County, Tennessee seeks a School Based Mental Health Liaison to deliver direct mental health services within the school system. You will provide counseling, consultation to teachers, and help structure classrooms to support at-risk students.

The role includes training staff, collaborating with families, developing IEPs, and delivering direct services to students while maintaining HRMC and CARF standards. Travel to family homes may be required.

Formación

• Master's Degree in a human services field such as counselor or social work.
• Two years' experience with children with emotional/behavioral problems or adolescent substance use/abuse prevention.
• Experience leading groups and trainings.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling.
• Advocate, link and refer as needed; conduct mental health assessments.
• Participate in IEP and school-related meetings; provide training to parents and staff.
• Interface with school personnel and other agencies; run groups with children and families.
