Job summary

CenClear is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join the Community and School-Based Behavioral Health team. You will deliver intensive therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families in school and community settings, aiming to build resilience and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities include direct support at Juniata Valley Elementary, conducting assessments, planning treatment, and collaborating with school staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, education, criminal justice, or a related human services field.
• Or Bachelor's degree in any field plus at least one year of full-time paid experience working directly with children or adolescents.
• Certification to provide BHT services (BCaBA, RBT, BCAT, or ANSI/ANSI-certified).

Responsibilities

• Work 40 hours per week, year-round, at Juniata Valley Elementary School.
• Provide behavioral health support using various treatment approaches including family systems.
• Be available during school hours and at least two evenings per week.
• Conduct functional assessments and develop strengths-based treatment plans.
• Maintain documentation and progress notes.
• Provide trauma-informed care and staff training as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and case reviews and crisis intervention on-call rotations.
