Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join a collaborative team caring for surgical patients before and after anesthesia. The RN will support pre-operative assessments and post-operative care in a patient-centered, fast-paced environment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active Michigan license, and RN experience; ADN accepted with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program.
• Associates Degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan.
• Experience as an RN required; acute care experience preferred.
• Specialty credentialing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Op: Optimize the patient for surgery through questionnaires, lab work and history.
• Pre-Op: Communicate effectively with family before and during the surgery.
• Pre-Op: Assist in obtaining consents for surgery.
• Post-Op: Care of the Surgical patients post anesthesia.

Education

Associates Degree in Nursing

BSN preferred

Licensed in Michigan

RN experience required

Acute care experience preferred

Specialty credentialing preferred
