Job summary

NV5 (NYSE: TIC) seeks an engineer to support the design and analysis of stream, river and wetland restoration projects within a multi-disciplinary team. You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D for design, plan set preparation and surface development, and perform hydraulic/hydrologic analyses using HEC-RAS to support permits and design decisions.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in ecological or civil engineering, have at least 2 years of water resources experience including river projects, and can work

Qualifications

• BS in ecological engineering, civil engineering or related field.
• Experience with river/water resources projects preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic models (HEC-RAS).

Responsibilities

• Support design and analysis of stream, river and wetland restoration projects.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D for design, plan set preparation and surface development.
• Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic analysis for design and permitting purposes (HEC-RAS).
• Develop design surfaces and Earthwork quantity take-offs for restoration projects.
