Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to support patients with acute and chronic respiratory needs in a hospital-based rehabilitation setting.

You will provide direct patient care, administer respiratory therapies and medications, supervise treatments, and develop care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Experience in a hospital environment is preferred and CPR/ACLS certifications are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients requiring medical gas, breathing therapy, and related medications.
• Supervising breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, and creating personalized care plans.
• Dedicating time to understand patients' physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
