Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver direct patient care, supervise breathing treatments, and develop individualized care plans. You will work within a collaborative team in a nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation network, focusing on compassionate care and patient independence.

The role requires a current state license in Respiratory Therapy, CPR certification, and preferably ACLS with a couple of years of hospital

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
