Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in a hospital setting. You will provide direct care using medical gas and breathing therapies, supervise treatments, assess patients, and develop personalized care plans to support recovery.

This role requires state licensure in Respiratory Therapy, CPR certification, and ideally ACLS; two years of hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
