Encompass Health welcomes you to join our Respiratory Care team as a Respiratory Therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation environment. You will deliver respiratory care, breathing treatments, and patient monitoring with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered outcomes.

Current state licensure in Respiratory Therapy and CPR certification are required, ACLS preferred. This role offers a supportive team, ongoing education, and opportunities to impact the lives of patients and their families

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients needing medical gas and breathing therapy.
• Supervise care and breathing treatments, conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Create personalized care plans and address patient concerns to promote recovery.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and celebrate progress along the way.
