Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care, manage respiratory therapy modalities, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a rehabilitation setting designed to restore independence and well-being. Requirements include active state licensure, CPR, ACLS preferred, and about two years of hospital

Qualifications

• Active state licensure in Respiratory Therapy (required).
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Approximately two years of hospital Respiratory Therapy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients needing medical gas and breathing therapies.
• Supervise care and breathing treatments, perform patient assessments, and develop personalized care plans.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients to support recovery and independence.
• Celebrate patient progress and outcomes as part of a collaborative care team.

Skills

State license in Respiratory Therapy

CPR certification
