Job summary

PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) is seeking a Residential Coordinator for the Bristol Hotel site in San Jose, CA. The role ensures the safety and basic needs of interim housing guests, providing care and assisting with meal prep, phones, and facility tasks.

This full-time, non-exempt position runs a Swing Shift Friday-Tuesday 1pm–9:30pm; driving is required. Competitive benefits include medical, dental and vision, vacation and sick time, paid holidays and a retirement plan.

Responsibilities

• Complete progress notes on every contact with participants or collateral contacts by shift end.
• Provide facility tours to guests and new participants.
• Support case managers and participants to help achieve individualized service plans.
• Maintain clean, hospitable interim housing floors and provide hygiene needs.
• Collaborate with case management and operations to keep the facility safe.
• Provide crisis intervention and support participants in problem solving and coping.
• Utilize lived experience to engage and connect with guests and services.
• Offer information, referrals, and advocacy for guests as needed.
• Develop community resources to link participants to services.
