Job summary

RAICES in San Antonio seeks a full-time Job Developer in the Refugee Resettlement Department to support employment preparation for refugees and immigrant clients, including resume and interview coaching and employer outreach.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Social Services or HR, 1–2 years in social services or with refugee populations, fluent English, and a valid driver’s license. Hybrid work with possible relocation assistance offers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Service or HR related field.
• 1-2 years in social services evaluating clients and matching to openings or training.
• 1-2 years of experience with refugee or immigrant populations in a community or social services setting.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Research local employers in the San Antonio area and build a network of hiring partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers and act as liaison to the Refugee Resettlement Program.
• Assist refugee clients with applying to jobs and coordinate communication with employers.
• Support job skills orientation and training for clients who are hired.
• Represent RAICES Refugee Resettlement Program in outreach sessions and community events.
• Complete administrative tasks: timekeeping, case file documentation, activity tracking, and data entry.
