Job summary

Spero Health is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist/Case Manager to join our Barbourville, KY and Williamsburg, KY teams. This role supports integrated care with counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment while focusing on the whole patient in a collaborative health system.

The position emphasizes treatment planning, payer communication, and timely documentation to maintain care access, while promoting recovery-oriented, patient-centered services in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of arts or science degree in a behavioral science or a Master’s Degree in Human Services.
• 1 year of full-time employment/internship in a human-services setting OR Master’s Degree.
• Professional standards and compliance with HIPAA and CFR 42 part 2.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and barriers and develop treatment plans.
• Maintain documentation for prior authorizations and reauthorizations.
• Advocate for patient needs and connect with community resources.
