Job summary

AmeriCorps VISTA is seeking a Recovery & Community Capacity Developer to strengthen Align9's capacity through partnerships and workforce development in Tennessee. The role emphasizes outreach to recovery groups, faith-based organizations, and health providers to foster sustainable community engagement.

The program starts 09/08/2026 and runs through 09/07/2027. Full-time schedule with benefits including health coverage, living allowance, and an education award or stipend.

Qualifications

Education level required: High school diploma or GED
Age requirement: minimum 18 years
English language: English proficient

Responsibilities

Build and maintain partnerships with local recovery organizations, faith-based organizations, healthcare providers, schools, employers, civic groups, and other community partners
Promote and increase participation in Find Your Adventure, Connect4, and Wellness Workshops
Recruit and engage volunteers and identify individuals with recovery to mentor, lead, or join workforce development
Collaborate with local recovery groups to strengthen collaboration, share resources, and create sustainable volunteer engagement
