Job summary

Applied ABC partners with Hawaii DOE to provide direct behavioral support services for students across Hawaii. RBTs work under BCBA supervision in school-based settings, collecting data and implementing treatment plans to improve educational outcomes.

Position offers a weekday schedule aligned with the Hawaii DOE calendar, ongoing supervision, and professional development opportunities within a collaborative school-based team.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification in good standing or willingness to obtain certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA-based intervention plans and behavior programs as directed by the supervising BCBA.
• Provide direct one-on-one and small-group behavioral support.
• Collect accurate, real-time behavioral data during every session.
• Support skill development in communication, social, behavioral, adaptive, and academic areas.
• Maintain professional conduct consistent with the BACB RBT Ethics Code.
• Communicate student progress and session observations to the supervising BCBA.
• Participate in required supervision activities in accordance with BACB requirements.
