Job summary

Applied ABC in Hawaii partners with the Hawaii Department of Education to place Registered Behavior Technicians in school-based settings across the state.

As an RBT, you will implement ABA programs, collect data, and support students' communication, social, and academic skills under BCBA supervision. Join a collaborative team focused on student success.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification in good standing and willing to maintain certification.
• College degree or minimum 48 college credits.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within educational and multidisciplinary environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral support under supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement ABA-based interventions and collect real-time data.
• Support skill development in communication, social, behavioral, and academic areas.
• Maintain professional conduct per BACB RBT Ethics Code.
• Communicate student progress and session observations to the supervising BCBA.
• Participate in required supervision activities and BACB compliance.
