Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform Diagnostic Imaging exams for patients of all ages under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager. You will ensure image quality, manage post-processing, and maintain patient safety and identification throughout procedures.

Key duties include adhering to ALARA, applying aseptic technique, and assisting radiologists with procedures while providing compassionate patient care across multiple settings.

Qualifications

• All certifications required on hire unless stated otherwise.
• ARRT Radiography certification required.
• BLS Basic Life Support required (Instructor or standard BLS).

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams under Radiologist or Manager guidance following ALARA principles.
• Evaluates image quality, ensures proper patient identification, and handles post-processing of data.
• Maintains patient safety, aseptic technique, and responds appropriately to emergencies.
