Job summary

Horizon Behavioral Health in Lynchburg, VA seeks an Employment and Education Specialist - QMHP to join the Coordinated Specialty Care team. You will provide community-based QMHP services, care coordination, client education, crisis de-escalation, and supported employment/education services under supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Professional.

This grant-funded position may end with grant funding. A Bachelor's degree and QMHP credential are required; travel and flexible hours may be needed;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable human services field is required.
• QMHP credential required and experience in mental health services preferred.
• Ability to travel to meetings and counseling sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based QMHP services as part of CSC team.
• Perform care coordination and client education.
• Conduct crisis de-escalation and safety planning.
• Deliver psychosocial skills development and supported employment/education services.
• Participate in grant-funded activities and reporting as required.
