Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) ESA's Community Service Division in Kent, WA is hiring a PBS4 – CPSS to provide hands-on case planning and support to clients navigating public assistance programs.

The role requires reading complex documents, coordinating with healthcare, housing, and employment partners, and developing tailored plans that respect each client's context and safety.

Formación

• Deep knowledge of Washington’s public assistance programs.
• Ability to assess and re-determine eligibility accurately.
• Familiar with WAC, RCW, and internal procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Interview clients to assess eligibility for cash, food, and medical programs.
• Facilitate program orientations and explain benefit pathways clearly and empathetically.
• Design, monitor, and update personalized case plans to address barriers and support employment goals.
• Refer clients to services such as housing, employment, mental health and related supports.
• Coordinate with external agencies to align support plans.
• Review and interpret documents to determine appropriate program fit.
• Authorize and track supportive services such as transportation or childcare.
• Maintain up-to-date case notes in multiple systems (ACES, Barcode, eJAS, HPF).
• Respond to case audits, resolve discrepancies, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in outreach, home visits, and client advocacy as needed.
