Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques and interventions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of residents' physical abilities and limitations.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and resident goals.
Implement treatment plans and monitor progress of residents.
Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility.
Educate residents and families on therapeutic exercises and techniques to maintain progress.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident progress and treatment plans.
Stay current with new developments and techniques in physical therapy.
