Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques and interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and assessments of residents' physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and resident goals.
• Implement treatment plans and monitor progress of residents.
• Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to improve strength, balance, coordination, and mobility.
• Educate residents and their families on therapeutic exercises and techniques to maintain progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident progress and treatment plans.
• Stay current with new developments and techniques in the field of physical therapy.
