Job summary

Bowery Residents' Committee, Inc. in Manhattan, NY seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to evaluate and treat patients, manage medications, and collaborate with staff and committees. The role reports to the VP of Nursing and includes case conferencing and staff training.

Must have NYS NP certification, experience with MICA populations, and CPR training or willingness to obtain it. Hours total 37.5 per week, day shift, in-house setting with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• NYS Certified psychiatric nurse practitioner.
• Experience working with a MICA population.
• CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.

Responsibilities

• Patient evaluation and treatment, medication management, case conferencing and in-service training to the staff.
• Provide input into the incident review committee and training committee as well as outside conferences.
• Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed.
• Report to VP of Nursing.
