Job summary

Eskaton, a nonprofit leader in aging in Northern California, seeks a Manager to oversee daily operations of an Affordable Housing community. You’ll coordinate resident relations, maintenance, compliance with HUD and local laws, and budgeting to sustain full occupancy. The role also involves marketing support and staff leadership.

The ideal candidate has an AA or COS credentials and at least two years of progressive management experience, with a strong focus on service to older adults.

Qualifications

• Education: AA degree or certificate in gerontology or property management preferred.
• COS certification is required or must be obtained within 6 months of starting.
• Two years of progressive responsibility in management functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the Affordable Housing community including resident relations and staff management.
• Ensures HUD and other regulations compliance and handles rent-up and recertification processes.
• Manages budgets, marketing to maintain full occupancy and coordinate vendor relations.
• Assists with marketing as defined in the AFHMP and/or directed by the Executive Director.
• Leads staff orientation, training, and performance evaluation; maintains professional image.
