Job summary

EAH Housing is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive development from acquisition through construction and occupancy for affordable housing across California. The role reports to the Vice President/Deputy Director and includes managing design, financing, and a cross-functional team.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in architecture, real estate development, finance, planning, or construction management and at least three years of related experience in affordable housing development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, real estate development, finance, planning, or construction management.
• Minimum 3 years of related work or field experience in affordable housing development such as residential architecture, finance, planning, construction, etc.

Responsibilities

• Finds and evaluates development opportunities, conducts feasibility analysis; develops strategy and negotiates purchase agreements.
• Obtains project financing including financing applications and deal structures; coordinates legal agreements for financing.
• Manages development team and consultants; ensures work is completed and approved; oversees contracts and billing.
• Obtains public approvals and permits; presents projects to the public and stakeholders.
• Monitors construction progress; negotiates documents and contracts; manages draws and budgets.
• Supports Property Management during project transition with essential project information.
• Collaborates with other departments to share information during design, construction and rent up.
• Advocates for affordable housing through public presentations and policy groups.
