Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer to support our Wisconsin construction projects from our Janesville, Madison, or Milwaukee offices. You will work with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and education segments.

The ideal candidate will have a 1–4 year track record in a construction role, a relevant degree, and familiarity with Procore or Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field required.
• 1–4 years of project engineer or related construction experience.
• Familiarity with construction management software like Procore or Bluebeam.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Collaborative, team-first attitude with a desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination across all phases of construction.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation to keep projects moving.
• Support procurement of materials, subcontracts, and equipment.
• Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and design teams daily.
• Conduct site visits and field observations to monitor progress and quality.
• Contribute to project closeout, punch lists, and owner turnover.
