Tutor Perini Building Corp. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in the Las Vegas, NV area.

The role involves monitoring construction activities to ensure work progresses as scheduled and meets contract specifications. Responsibilities include site inspections, interpreting designs, preparing as-built drawings, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with contractors and clients to align design and construction efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Two or more years of commercial construction experience.
• General Contractor work experience on a project exceeding $50 million.
• Proficient with MSOffice Suite, Primavera P6 and Procore.
• TIA preparation experience.
• Experienced in blueprint reading, construction scheduling and CAD.
• Previous experience as a field engineer or project engineer on commercial construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction site daily and work with contractors to schedule deliveries.
• Interpret designs and drawings for crafts installing materials.
• Research and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interference, and errors.
• Prepare field design change requisitions and “as built” drawings.
• Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports and punch lists.
• Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications.
• Attend meetings with other contractors, clients, or A/E representatives to coordinate design and construction efforts.
• Coordinate changes in mock-ups and/or shop drawings and specifications.
• Oversee Quantity Take-off’s as project requires.
• Oversee project related pricing/budgets.
• Develops procurement log and tracks progress to ensure compliance with project schedule.
