Job summary

Insteel Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing shift with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role emphasizes coaching team members, maintaining GMP standards, and coordinating daily production activities in a fast-paced plant environment. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of related experience in steel wire manufacturing and prefer an Associate Degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years related experience in steel wire manufacturing.
• Professional or technical degree preferred (2-year Associate Degree).

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise assigned personnel on shifts and coach for growth.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and production efficiency; lead by example.
• Prepare shifts, check production conditions, and schedule work on machines.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate goals to the team.
• Generate daily and maintenance reports; manage inventory and cost on shift.
