Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) PRN to provide compassionate care across Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing communities. The RN supports residents and families, collaborates with the care team, and ensures high standards of clinical care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland is required.
• At least 6 months of RN experience.
• Experience with seniors or cognitive impairment is preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and web applications.
• EMR experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with residents and families using a caregiver approach.
• Provide nursing care per state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote resident independence with goals and education.
• Monitor residents and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with care associates for routine nursing tasks.
• Maintain infection prevention and administer medications as ordered.
• Develop holistic care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in the resident's EMR and ensure accuracy.
