Job summary

The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is seeking a Primary Care Physician to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in an open, ongoing recruitment. You will be responsible for managing a panel of primary care patients, supervising mid-level providers as needed, and ensuring timely documentation within VA policies.

Eligible for Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) and other total rewards; recruitment/relocation incentives may be available.

Qualifications

• English proficiency in spoken and written form is required.
• MD or equivalent degree in allopathic/osteopathic medicine.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States (or DC).
• Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide delivery of primary care to patients enrolled in the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System.
• Supervise or collaborate with mid-level practitioners as assigned.
• Maintain timely documentation and complete administrative tasks per policy.
• Ensure care meets professional standards and adheres to privileges.
