Job summary

Wisconsin Community Services, in Waukesha County, is seeking a Case Manager for the Day Report Center. This role provides intensive case management, supervision, and connection to community services for individuals referred by the court, DA, and probation.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and experience with evidence-based practices, LS-CMI certification, and the ability to work independently and with stakeholders; the position is full-time with occasional Saturday duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, social work or related field.
• Experience in case management and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with community based organizations, referrals and follow up to meet the needs of people served.
• Ability to work collaboratively with justice system stakeholders including judges, attorneys, jail staff, probation agents, treatment providers, and other partners.
• Possess a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and maintain adequate auto.
• Must pass driver’s license check, employment drug test and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the LS-CMI Assessment and develop case plans for persons served, intake, and supervision.
• Engage in internal team meetings and use professional judgement for responses to violations.
• Make independent treatment referrals based on people’s needs and ensure provider standards.
• Ensure national standards for diversion programs supervision model are followed.
• Enter tracking in the WCS AWARDS and CORE databases, ensuring timely data entry.
• Provide court testimony as requested.
• Coordinate with Electronic Monitoring services and address outstanding fees.
