Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) seeks a Preschool Teacher at the Salem site to support children's learning, well-being, and development in partnership with families and staff. The role follows Head Start Standards and licensing requirements to deliver quality early childhood education.

Key duties include planning developmentally appropriate curriculum, conducting screenings, maintaining portfolios, and collaborating with education, health, and family services teams.

Qualifications

• Preschool teaching experience (minimum 6 months)
• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or higher
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or higher
• Oregon Registry Step 9 or higher per degree/pathway

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for preschool children
• Plan and implement curriculum aligned with Head Start standards
• Individualize instruction based on observations and family goals
• Maintain child portfolios and documentation and conduct developmental screenings
