Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Waukegan, IL is seeking a School Psychologist for the full academic year. The role blends onsite work with potential hybrid arrangements within Cotton Creek Elementary.

You will work with preschool populations, conduct evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers and families to support student well-being and achievement. Competitive weekly pay, health/dental/vision coverage, and a 401(k) plan are included.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid PEL with a School Psychologist Endorsement.
• Meet all state and district requirements for school psychology practice.
• Experience in school-based psychological assessment, IEPs, and crisis intervention preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work with diverse student populations and grade levels.
• Skilled in providing both direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support the academic, social, and emotional needs of students in assigned grade levels.
• Conduct formal evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and recommend evidence-based interventions.
• Serve one or more schools, with a primary focus on preschool populations.
• Develop comprehensive evaluations and support teams to promote student well-being and academic success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams and provide consultation as needed.
