Sunbelt Staffing seeks a School Psychologist for a contract position near Dekalb, IL. The role features two on-site days per week (about 15 hours) for the full school year, serving multiple sites with K-12 students and standard duties.

Responsibilities include assessments, counseling, intervention, and consultation, plus participation in IEP meetings and keeping records per district guidelines. Bilingual candidates are preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement is required.
• Meets all district or state requirements for School Psychologists.
• Experience working in K-12 settings.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, though not mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Deliver comprehensive school psychological services: assessments, counseling, intervention, and consultation.
• Support students and staff with academic, social, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to implement effective strategies for student success.
• Conduct evaluations and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by district and state guidelines.
• Engage with diverse student populations; bilingual candidates are preferred.
