Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a School Psychologist for a part-time on-site contract near Sycamore, IL, delivering psychological services across grades. The role runs 15 hours/week over two days, with potential for hybrid options and a strong emphasis on student well-being.

The position requires a valid PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement and prefers prior school experience. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to serve our diverse student population.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement as required by state guidelines.
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to work effectively across grade levels and school sites.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Comfortable delivering services onsite; interest in hybrid options welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver psychological assessments, counseling, and consultation consistent with district standards.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and behavioral health.
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans in compliance with state and district protocols.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed, fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary teams as required.
