Qualifications

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state certification or license to practice as a School Psychologist.
• Experience in a school setting, especially with early childhood or PreK populations.
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention, consultation, and collaboration.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for PreK students.
• Develop individualized recommendations and intervention plans to address student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive learning environments.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEPs, and contribute to educational plans.
• Offer crisis intervention and support services as needed.
• Deliver counseling, both individually and in groups, targeting social skills, behavior, and emotional regulation.
• Stay current on best practices and regulations related to school psychology and early childhood education.
