BioLife Plasma Services seeks an experienced Plasma Center Nurse (LPN/LVN) at our Indianapolis, IN location. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor safety, review test results, and report unsuitable findings under supervision of the Center Manager and Center Physician.

The role requires state licensure, CPR/AED, basic IV therapy, and at least two years in a clinical setting. BioLife offers competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus eligibility.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent with nursing program graduate requirements
• Licensed LPN or LVN in the relevant state
• CPR and AED certification
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience
• Complete FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility including consent, education, medical history, physical exam and SPE review
• Evaluate and manage donor adverse events per SOPs and coordinate with Center Physician for medical issues
• Refer conditions to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as applicable
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER and EHS guidance
• Possibly act as Pandemic Coordinator as authorized by EHS/Medical Affairs
