Job summary

Ingevity in Wickliffe, KY is seeking a Project Engineer to develop and execute projects aimed at improving existing processes and introducing new ones. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure SHE, engineering and plant compliance.

You will scope, estimate, and economically analyse capital and non-capital projects; manage budgets and schedules; oversee field installations and contractor performance. Travel is minimal; relocation is supported, and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in process, project engineering and/or production capacity.
• Lean manufacturing and batch/continuous processing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Scope, estimate and provide economic analysis for capital and non-capital projects.
• Manage capital and non-capital projects to ensure budgets and schedules are met.
• Coordinate field installation of capital projects and manage contractors.
• Collaborate with Operations to identify process improvements and capital projects.
• Support process safety and environmental compliance initiatives.
