Job summary

Ridgeview Institute Monroe seeks a Patient Advocate to support our treatment team across ages, under the Director of PI/Risk Management. You will provide continuous care, supervision, and positive role modeling to patients, contributing to a therapeutic environment that fosters well-being.

You will collaborate on performance improvement activities, maintain records, and support department reporting while upholding Ridgeview’s mission and values in a comprehensive mental health program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Nursing, masters in social work or counseling preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting involving quality improvement preferred.
• Computers skills involving knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, and business writing.

Responsibilities

• Support performance improvement activities on a daily basis and ensure actions align with policies and procedures.
• Receive and review department/service performance measures and coordinate reports to Director of PI.
• Maintain records of performance improvement measures and statistical tools used in studies.
• Advise and assist all departments/services and committees responsible for performance improvement activities.
• Assist in preparing, coordinating and documenting PI meetings.
• Maintain a record of all completed reviews, evaluations and process improvement team activities.
