Job summary

Ridgeview Institute Monroe is seeking a dedicated Patient Advocate to support patients across age groups in a therapeutic setting. You will work within the treatment team, offering continuous care, supervision, and positive role modeling under guidance from the PI/Risk Management Director.

The role emphasizes compassionate mental health care, collaboration with clinicians, and contributing to a supportive treatment environment for a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Nursing, masters in social work or counseling preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting involving quality improvement preferred.
• Computers skills involving knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, and business writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous care, supervision, and positive role modeling to patients across age groups from adolescents to geriatrics.
• Collaborate with the treatment team under the Director of PI/Risk Management to foster a therapeutic environment.
• Contribute to patient support and well-being throughout the treatment process.

Compensation

This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range is $18.00 - $22.00 hourly. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Patient Advocate!
