Job summary

ApexNetwork Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Tech/Aide to support therapists and patients in a hands-on, in-person role at our Illinois clinic. You’ll assist with exercise setups, equipment, and administrative tasks while delivering high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude to help patients recover and stay on track with their treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Support Therapists: Assist in setting up and monitoring daily exercise treatments based on the therapist’s plan of care.
• Equipment Setup: Learn to set up and assist patients on a variety of equipment, including machine weights and aerobic conditioning devices, all as part of personalized treatment plans.
• Data Entry & Administrative Support: Maintain accurate patient records, marketing materials, and patient information.
• Clinic Cleanliness & Organization: Keep the therapy area tidy, follow cleaning protocols, and take the initiative to organize when patient assistance is not required.
• Customer Service: Answer phones, take referrals, pre-authorize visits, and provide additional support with front desk or billing duties as needed.
• Teamwork: Assist other clinics or departments as necessary, always staying flexible and willing to pitch in where needed.
